A Tradition of Caring® Scholarship

As a family-owned business with a century-long tradition of compassionate service, Newcomer Family Funeral Homes is committed to the wellbeing of the communities we serve. That's why Ren and Theresa Newcomer instituted the Tradition of Caring ® Nursing Scholarship.

Each year a $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a local nursing student in every community we serve. Any high school senior or college student pursuing a nursing or pre-nursing course of study is encouraged to apply.

For your convenience, an on-line application is available for download here. Applications should be submitted to your local Newcomer funeral home. The application deadline is January 31, 2008 and scholarships will be awarded in the spring of 2008.
