Scholarship

Are you interested in nursing? If so, Ren and Theresa Newcomer’s family-owned company, Newcomer Funeral Homes & Crematories, would like to help you reach your goal through their Tradition of Caring® nursing scholarship.

This scholarship is open to:

• All local students pursuing a degree in nursing
• High school seniors currently pursuing a nursing or pre-nursing course of study.

Scholarships of $1,000 each are annually awarded. Recipients are selected from applicants who meet eligibility requirements and have permanent residence in a community served by a Newcomer Funeral Home. The scholarship can be used in any area of study in the field of nursing. The application deadline is January 31, 2010.

Families rely on Newcomer Funeral Homes for experience, understanding and integrity in their time of need. Newcomer’s Tradition of Caring® nursing scholarship is an ongoing demonstration of Ren and Theresa’s commitment to the communities that we serve.
